Come along and Nat will provide all the equipment and clay for you to make a bowl or mug. Design something before hand or come along and be inspired on the day, you'll make your own piece, add any details and colours you choose then they'll be taken away to dry naturally. Once dry they will be clear glazed and kiln fired ready for you to use - they will be food safe and watertight (unless your design had holes in it!) and brought back to the shop ready for you to collect about 2 weeks later - or if more convenient postage can be arranged in class for an additional cost
Handmade Nottingham is an independently owned and run store that proudly champions UK designer makers, they have a wonderful creative space upstairs for worshops

Yorkshire Chocolate Festival
Taking place at Magna Science and Adventure Centre on Saturday 15th October 2022, the festival will bring together live music, workshops and over 70 stalls featuring all things chocolate.
We’re excited to bring back this very unique event to Yorkshire, uniting some of the county’s best bakers, crafters, chocolatiers and makers!
From brownies and doughnuts to hot chocolate mugs and wax melts, there will be something for everyone!
The most important thing is that every penny raised will go to Roundabout, South Yorkshire’s youth homeless charity. By supporting the event, you’ll be helping to make an enormous difference to the lives of some of the region’s most vulnerable young people.
PLANT POT WORKSHOP
There’s lots of fun to be had playing with clay in this ceramic plant pot workshop with Upsydaisy Craft. Participants will make one large plant pot (approx 13cm diameter) through the methods of slab building and coiling. Nat from Upsydaisy Craft will demonstrate textures and techniques. The stoneware clay will be provided along with a variety of stamps and shapes to create interesting details. You will then be able to decorate with underglaze colours of your choice. The pots will be dried slowly to prevent cracks before they are glazed with a transparent gloss glaze, fired and will then be ready for collection from the Gallery approx. 2 weeks later.
